Ukraine anti-corruption probe targets criminal group linked to Presidential Office
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) have launched a major operation targeting an alleged criminal organization. Investigators believe the group is led by current and former members of the Verkhovna Rada.
The investigation reportedly involves high-ranking officials from the Office of the President of Ukraine. Law enforcement has conducted searches, including the premises of Iryna Mudra, the deputy head of the Presidential Office.
Additional details from the investigation include the seizure of biological samples from Petro Domashenkov, an assistant to David Arachamia. Five members of the ruling Servant of the People party are also facing allegations related to the acceptance of cash.
