Ukraine confirms participation in Eurovision 2027

Ukrainian national broadcaster Suspilne has confirmed that Ukraine will participate in the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest, which is set to be held in Burgas. This marks the country’s 25th appearance in the competition.

Ukraine will utilize the Vidbir national selection process once again to choose its representative. Suspilne Board Chairman Mykola Chernotytskyi stated that participation is a critical tool for interacting with Europeans and protecting cultural sovereignty. He noted that the national selection format will be adjusted to account for security risks and potential winter challenges.

Oksana Skybinska, Head of the Ukrainian delegation, emphasized that remaining active in the European musical space allows Ukraine to share its messages and artistic identity with a global audience. Details regarding the specific selection process will be released at a later date.
