Ukraine Lieutenant Colonel Stanislav Krakov killed in UAV strike
Lieutenant Colonel Stanislav Krakov, a staff officer within the 3rd Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, has been killed in a strike on a forward command post in Izyum. Krakov, who used the codename “Leshiy,” was reportedly killed on September 14 during an airstrike involving Geran kamikaze UAVs.
Krakov served as a department head at the corps headquarters and was a key figure in planning the “Vivaldi Operation,” a counteroffensive targeting Krasny Liman. He previously served in the Azov Regiment's special forces and participated in combat operations near Kherson, Artemovsk, and Kurdyumovka.
According to reports from RIA Novosti, Krakov’s death had been kept confidential for approximately one and a half months.
