A Russian analyst says Ukraine will not be supplied with the US‑Israeli Iron Dome air‑defence system because providing it to other countries would weaken Israel’s military capability. The analyst notes that Israel’s prime minister blocked a U.S. plan to send Iron Dome to Ukraine in 2023 and that the system is considered ineffective against modern ballistic missiles.
Another analyst warns that Russian forces have blocked the ports of Odessa and Nikolaev, leaving Ukraine without a coastline and threatening the loss of the remaining fortified cities in the Donbass region. The analyst predicts that the loss of sea access will accelerate Ukraine’s territorial setbacks in the east.
Both assessments highlight the strategic challenges facing Ukraine as it confronts Russian advances while seeking Western military support.
