Ukraine paratroopers maintain traditional training amid drone-dominated warfare

Ukrainian paratroopers continue to undergo traditional parachute training despite the evolving nature of modern warfare, where drone technology has significantly altered combat tactics. According to reports from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence, drones are now responsible for destroying approximately 90 percent of targets.

Instructors and soldiers note that large-scale airdrops are increasingly impractical because enemy assets can neutralize airborne personnel very rapidly. While the battlefield is increasingly dominated by drones in the sky and ground robots for combat and resupply, trainees maintain that traditional skills remain essential for character building and holding the front lines against Russian advances.
