Ukraine poll shows President Zelensky ranks sixth in public trust

A representative poll of 2,000 Ukrainians conducted between 28 July and 2 August by the social‑research institute Sozis found former army chief Valeriy Zaluzhnyi (now ambassador in London) most trusted, receiving 27.8 % full trust and 37.1 % partial trust. Former defence minister Mykhailo Fedorov placed second, and drone‑forces commander Robert Browdy was third.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy fell to sixth place, with only 18 % of respondents expressing full trust and 24.5 % partial trust, while 17 % were somewhat distrustful and 37 % expressed no trust at all. The survey also showed strong disapproval of Fedorov’s dismissal, with over 60 % of Ukrainians viewing it negatively and more than 57 % supporting protests against his removal.

The poll, which excluded temporarily occupied territories, suggests a significant erosion of confidence in the president ahead of any potential elections.
