Ukraine reports massive Russian military losses on Putin's 74th birthday

On the 74th birthday of Vladimir Putin, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released a report detailing the cumulative losses of the Russian military since the start of the full-scale invasion. Ukraine estimates that Russia has lost approximately 1.55 million soldiers, with 1,690 casualties reported in the last 24 hours.

The report also provides a detailed breakdown of equipment losses, including 12,396 tanks, 25,498 armored combat vehicles, 50,836 artillery systems, and 551,876 operational-tactical drones. Other significant losses include 443 aircraft, 356 helicopters, and 35 ships or boats.

While Russian state media and officials provided birthday greetings, the Ukrainian military framed the release of these statistics as a direct message to the Russian president, stating that his actions are bringing Russia closer to a precipice.
