Ukraine suffers deadly strikes in Dnipro and Chernihiv
A Russian drone strike on a passenger train at the Dnipro railway station has killed 14 people. The attack occurred despite missile alarms, targeting a location with high passenger volume.
In other recent strikes, a cruise missile hit Chernihiv, killing two 15-year-old girls, and a drone strike on an apartment building in Kremenchuk resulted in three deaths and 56 injuries, including 10 children.
In response to the escalating attacks on civilian infrastructure, President Volodymyr Zelensky has called for stricter sanctions against Moscow. These incidents occur amid shifting geopolitical dynamics, including Russia’s efforts to strengthen ties with African leaders and a planned trilateral summit between Russia, Ukraine, and the USA in Abu Dhabi on November 10.
