Ukraine targets Siberian industrial facility in long-range strike

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced intentions for further operations within Russian territory following a strike on an industrial facility in Siberia. The target, located in Tobolsk, is situated more than 2,000 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

According to the Ukrainian General Staff, the strike targeted a petrochemical industry site. Ukrainian leadership stated that such facilities produce raw materials essential for Russian military production. The operation is part of an increasing trend where Ukrainian forces use drones to strike deep into the Russian hinterland to disrupt military and logistical structures.
