Ukraine utilizes advanced satellite technology in warfare

Advanced satellite technology is fundamentally altering the battlefield in the war in Ukraine by providing near real-time intelligence to frontline troops. Previously, the delivery of satellite imagery to soldiers was delayed by days due to technological complexities and command structures, making it difficult to target mobile assets.

Currently, high-tech satellite imagery allows Ukrainian drone operators to identify the movement and locations of Russian personnel with high precision.
