Russian strikes across Ukraine's industrial regions and front lines have resulted in at least eight deaths. Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhii Koretsky accused Russian forces of deliberately targeting businesses, farms, warehouses, railways, energy infrastructure, and residential buildings.

In Dnipro, the company Interpipe reported that four people were killed and seven injured at one of its facilities. Additional fatalities were reported in Kherson and Odesa.

Simultaneously, Ukraine has escalated its own long-range drone operations within Russian territory. Ukrainian officials reported striking a refinery in Ufa, over 1,300 kilometers from the border, and another in the Samara region. The Samara Governor confirmed that Ukrainian drones hit civilian targets, resulting in one death and four injuries.

These escalations occur as President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Donald Trump on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York. This follows recent claims by Trump that Moscow and Kyiv had reached an agreement to avoid targeting energy infrastructure, a claim not supported by current developments.
