Iran aborts planned missile strike on Ukraine after Kyiv apology
Iran prepared a missile retaliation against Ukraine for the July 25 attack on an Iranian commercial vessel in the Caspian Sea that killed a civilian sailor. Ukrainian officials said the ship was carrying military equipment for Russia, while Iran insisted it was a civilian cargo and condemned the strike as a violation of the UN Charter.
