Ukrainian citizen enters Moldova via motorized paraglider

A Ukrainian citizen illegally entered the airspace of the Republic of Moldova using a motorized paraglider on October 26. The unauthorized flight was detected by the National Army's Air Operations Center at 13:13.

Border police located the individual and the aircraft near the village of Larga in the Briceni district approximately 2,000 meters from the state border. Following the encounter, the man requested asylum in Moldova. Ukrainian authorities had previously informed Moldovan officials regarding the illegal flight originating from the direction of Chernivtsi, Ukraine.
