Ukrainian elite units surrounded in Dobropolie

Elite Ukrainian military units are reportedly surrounded by Russian forces in the city of Dobropolie, located within the Donetsk region. Military analysts indicate that the encirclement involves approximately 1,000 personnel, including members of the 4th and 15th National Guard brigades and the 425th Skala Assault Battalion. These units are typically deployed to the most challenging sectors of the front due to their high capacity and specialized equipment.

Dobropolie is described as a strategic fortress city. The Russian Ministry of Defense claims that approximately 45 casualties were sustained within a 24-hour period. Analysts suggest that Russian forces are attempting to completely sever connections between the surrounded units and the main body of Ukrainian forces to prevent coordinated attacks from within or outside the encirclement.
