Ukrainian Il-76 transport aircraft lands in Dęblin, Poland

An Ukrainian Ilyushin Il-76 heavy transport aircraft entered Polish airspace on Monday, landing at the 41st Training Aviation Base in Dęblin. The flight, which was visible on public flight tracking services, arrived from Ukraine around 10:17 AM and landed shortly after.

The aircraft remained on the ground for several hours before taking off again around 2:33 PM to return to Ukraine. While the specific purpose of the visit and the nature of any cargo transported have not been officially disclosed by Polish or Ukrainian authorities, there are no indications that the flight was unplanned or an incident.

Poland continues to serve as a major logistical hub for Ukraine following the Russian invasion. The Il-76 is a four-engine heavy transport aircraft capable of carrying over 50 tons of cargo.
