Ukrainian influencer infiltrates Russian drone industry meeting

Ukrainian influencer Yevhen Volnov, known online as ‘Major Chernobaev’, successfully infiltrated a closed Russian government video conference regarding the drone industry and electronic warfare systems. The meeting included approximately 14 officials and engineers from the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya).

During the session, Rosaviatsiya Deputy Head Andrey Potemkin noted that domestic manufacturers were failing to meet expected results, specifically comparing the slow Russian certification process unfavorably to faster Chinese procedures. Volnov interrupted the proceedings, questioning how Ukrainian engineers could produce effective combat drones in primitive conditions within three weeks, while the Russian aviation industry struggles with bureaucracy despite massive state spending.

Volnov accused the participants of corruption and inefficiency, suggesting that funds were being extracted from the state budget without producing necessary military equipment. The meeting was abruptly terminated after Volnov claimed to be an agent of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and stated that all attendees had been identified.
