Ukrainian millionaire targeted in Monaco bombing
On June 29, a bomb exploded at the doorstep of Ukrainian millionaire Vadym Yermolaiev’s luxury apartment in Monaco, causing serious injuries. Following the attack, authorities identified Anastasiia Berezovska, a 39-year-old Ukrainian woman with no criminal record or known connection to Yermolaiev, as the suspected perpetrator.
One week after being named as the suspect, Berezovska was found dead, buried in a shallow grave in a forest near Kyiv. Yermolaiev, who recently underwent several surgeries following the blast, stated he has no known enemies and does not understand the motive behind the attempt on his life.
