Ukraine faces missile shortages amid Russian refinery attack

The conflict in Ukraine continues to impact regional security and defense resources. Reports indicate that Ukraine is facing critical shortages of AIM-120 and AIM-9 missiles for F-16 fighters, as well as PAC-3 missiles for Patriot systems, potentially weakening its air defense against Russian drones and ballistic missiles.

In Russia, a major Rosneft oil refinery in Ryazan was reportedly disabled following a Ukrainian drone attack, with repairs expected to take weeks. Meanwhile, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated he received a precise intelligence report from CIA Director John Ratcliffe regarding potential upcoming scenarios.

Security incidents have also been reported at the International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce, Poland. A 43-year-old Ukrainian national was detained after attempting to enter the fair with a magazine loaded with live ammunition. Additionally, an incident involving the dispersal of butyric acid near Israeli company stands led to the detention of two women following protests against the presence of Israeli exhibitors.
