Naples Carabinieri Dismantle Large Drug‑Trafficking Network in Pianura

Carabinieri of the Napoli Bagnoli operational unit executed a court‑ordered precautionary measure against ten people linked to a drug‑trafficking ring in the Pianura district of Naples. The investigation, launched after reports of drug sales near schools, uncovered a “Visionario” drug‑selling hub that used a fortified bunker and home‑delivery service to distribute cocaine, crack, hashish and marijuana to customers in Naples, Padua and Parma. Minors were employed on rotating shifts to sell directly in front of two schools, and the gang also carried out a violent assault on a local politician. Eight suspects were taken into custody, while two received residence‑ban orders. The operation documented the full supply chain, from street‑level sales to the use of sophisticated security systems in the bunker.

The seized evidence includes large quantities of narcotics, surveillance footage, and records of the delivery network. The court‑ordered measures aim to disrupt the gang’s activities and protect the surrounding community, especially schoolchildren, from further drug exposure.
