Ukrainian Veterans Corps opens new branch in Warsaw

The Ukrainian organization ‘Veterans Corps’ has announced the opening of a new branch in Warsaw, Poland. The facility is located at the UA HUB on Obrzeżna Street in the Mokotów district and was scheduled to open during the UA FEST event on September 19.

Led by Jan Kliszajew, the organization aims to support military personnel, veterans, and the families of the fallen. Its services include legal, psychological, and professional assistance, as well as helping former soldiers reintegrate into civilian life and prepare for economic and social activities.

According to the Lviv Regional Military Administration, the group was established by the 3rd Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The 3rd Army Corps, commanded by Andriy Biletsky, originated from the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade. Research from the Centre for Eastern Studies indicates that both the 3rd Army Corps and the 1st Azov Corps trace their roots back to the Azov movement, which began with the Azov Battalion in 2014.
