British electronic musician Sam Battle, performing as Look Mum No Computer, represented the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna. His avant‑garde entry “Eins, Zwei, Drei” finished 25th, receiving a single jury point and no public televote points, while Bulgaria’s Dara won the competition.

During the jury voting show the UK delegation failed to provide a designated seat for Battle, leaving him alone on an empty sofa in the green room. The incident was captured on video and sparked criticism on social media. Denmark’s delegation invited Battle to sit with them, a gesture that was widely praised and highlighted the perceived neglect by the BBC and the UK team. In the days after the contest, Battle capitalised on the experience by selling “Look Mum No Points” T‑shirts.

The episode added to ongoing concerns about the United Kingdom’s approach to Eurovision, following several years of low scores and public vote zeros.
