UKTV expands streaming services with new FAST channels

UKTV is expanding its digital presence by launching several free ad-supported streaming (FAST) channels. The expansion includes a dedicated channel for the BBC soap opera EastEnders, which is expected to be available on LG Channels and Freely before the end of 2026.

Other programs receiving dedicated FAST channels include dramas such as Casualty and Holby City, as well as popular reality and lifestyle series including Top Gear, Antiques Roadshow, Bargain Hunt, DIY SOS, and Gardeners' World. These channels aim to provide viewers with curated access to hundreds of episodes of iconic British television content.

In a related development, wedotv Movies has also launched on the Freely streaming platform. The channel features a refreshed film slate acquired from New Regency, including titles such as The Big Short, JFK, and Natural Born Killers. wedotv Movies is also available nationally on Freeview Channel 98.
