Ulamış hosts 9th Ata Bread and Armola Festival

The 9th Ata Bread and Armola Festival was held in Ulamış, Seferihisar, attracting thousands of visitors. The event centered on local culinary traditions, specifically Ata bread and Armola cheese.

Activities included producer stands, demonstrations of traditional Armola cheese making, folk dance performances, and concerts. Visitors supported local production by purchasing goods directly from producers.

During the event, Seferihisar Deputy Mayor Fuat Gümüş highlighted the importance of these products to the region's production culture. He noted the successful revival of Topan Karakılçık wheat, which was brought back to production after seeds found in Gödence in 2011 were preserved and multiplied at the Can Yücel Seed Center.
