Ulcinj to host fifth Mundijal prijateljstva sports event

Ulcinj will host the fifth Mundijal prijateljstva from October 9 to 12, an event expected to be the largest edition to date. The sporting manifestation will gather hundreds of athletes and sports professionals from the former SFR Yugoslavia.

The event includes a tribute to five prominent figures who passed away since the previous gatherings: Ivan Gudelj, Božo Koprivica, Goran Sukno, Duško Vujošević, and Dražen Dalipagić. Various sports figures and journalists are scheduled to speak about their legacies during the memorial service.

A formal opening ceremony is planned for Saturday in the Old Town at the Balšić Palace plateau. Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović is expected to address the participants via video link. The program also features the Montenegrin premiere of the book ‘Hadžija sa Koševa’ by Branko Tomić and a documentary film premiere.
