Ulice: Soňa Čechová launches political campaign for mayor

In the new season of the Czech television series Ulice, the character Soňa Čechová, played by Lucie Vondráčková, has launched a political campaign with the goal of becoming the mayor of Křečovice. Following a blackout in the town, Soňa plans to utilize internet livestreams to connect with voters and build an image of a responsive politician.

Her political ambitions face opposition from Jirka Hložánek, played by Ondřej Havel, who has decided to run against her. Vondráčková has noted that this role marks her first significant negative character in her thirty-year career, describing the performance as a challenging but enjoyable departure from her previous roles.
