Ulsan authorities partner to combat illegal PC cafes

Ulsan Metropolitan City has entered into a multi-agency memorandum of understanding to combat illegal adult PC cafes. The agreement involves the Ulsan Metropolitan Police Agency, five local districts, and the Game Rating and Administration Committee.

The initiative aims to address growing concerns regarding gambling addiction and secondary crimes linked to illegal gaming establishments spreading through residential areas and school zones. Under the agreement, agencies will share information, conduct joint inspections, and coordinate rapid administrative actions and investigations. The Game Rating and Administration Committee will provide technical support through the analysis and appraisal of illegal game content.
