Ulsan Metropolitan City recruits youth for policy committee

Ulsan Metropolitan City has announced a recruitment drive for the 4th Youth Policy Coordination Committee. The city aims to increase youth participation in municipal administration and develop customized policies by incorporating direct feedback from young residents.

The committee, which is chaired by the mayor, consists of 30 members, including 8 ex-officio and 22 appointed members. To ensure practical involvement, more than half of the appointed positions are reserved for youth. Eligible applicants must be aged 19 to 39 and reside in Ulsan. Applications will be accepted from August 24 to August 28 via mail or email. The selection process will involve document screening and interviews, focusing on the willingness to solve youth issues and interest in policy. The 11 selected youth members will serve a two-year term starting October 1, focusing on areas such as jobs, housing, and culture.
