Ulss 3 expands public clinic hours in Venice

Ulss 3 is expanding the operating hours and medical staff of its public clinics in Venice to ensure continuity of care. The public clinics in Sant’Elena and Castello will increase their weekly service from 15 to 25 hours. An additional doctor for continuity of care has been added to the existing five medical staff members.

This expansion follows the decision of two general practitioners, Marco Penzo and Greta Lorenzon, to transfer to other districts within the same health authority after August 31. To assist patients, Ulss 3 has noted that there are 300 available positions with other doctors in the same territory, as well as new community houses at the Civile and Giustinian locations.
