Ulta Beauty sees notable institutional stake reductions

Glenmede Trust Co. NA trimmed its Ulta Beauty Inc. (NASDAQ:ULTA) holding by 17.5% in the first quarter, leaving the trust with 92,148 shares—about 0.21% of the company and valued at roughly $48.2 million.

First Trust Advisors LP also cut its position, selling 11,733 shares for a 36.4% decline and ending the quarter with 20,528 shares worth about $10.7 million.

Both moves are part of broader activity among institutional investors, who collectively own about 90.4% of Ulta Beauty’s stock. Other funds reported sizable purchases during the same period, including Diamant Asset Management, Norges Bank, and Invesco Ltd., highlighting a mixed pattern of buying and selling across the retailer’s shareholder base.
