Ulta Levenia Nababan links Indonesian eruptions to HAARP

Ulta Levenia Nababan, Deputy VI of Bakom RI, has drawn public attention after suggesting a potential link between recent volcanic eruptions in Indonesia and the High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) in the United States.

In social media posts, Levenia acknowledged that these natural disasters could be purely natural phenomena. However, she expressed skepticism regarding the timing of the eruptions, noting they occurred following a meeting between Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Vladivostok.

Levenia highlighted that HAARP was originally funded by U.S. military entities, including the Air Force, Navy, and DARPA, which often fuels conspiracy theories regarding its ability to control weather or trigger seismic activity. While she noted there is no credible scientific evidence to support such claims, she raised questions about the geopolitical implications of the high-power radio transmitter located in Alaska. HAARP is currently an ionospheric research initiative managed by the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
