Ultra Hero Expo 2026 Opens in Osaka with Ultra Man Teo Live Stage

The Ultra Heroes EXPO 2026 Umeda Summer Festival began on 7 August at Osaka’s Umeda South Hall, running through 17 August. The event features a new Osaka‑only live stage that brings together Ultra Man Teo, its protagonist Hikaru Iwasaki (played by Aoi Iwasaki), and classic Ultra heroes such as Ultra Man Zero.

During the opening ceremony, Iwasaki and special‑effects director Takashi Tsujimoto discussed the series, noting that Ultra Man Teo is portrayed as a hero who “doesn’t want to fight” and emphasizes kindness. The live performance, titled “NEW GENERATION THE LIVE Ultra Man Teo Edition – Guardians Who Keep Watching,” showcased the character’s transformation and interactions with supporting monsters, drawing enthusiastic applause from the audience.

The festival also includes exhibition areas with life‑size figures, a diorama recreating a scene from episode 5, and merchandise celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Ultra Man franchise.
