Ultrahuman integrates medical records with smart ring data

Ultrahuman has launched the HealthEx Powerplug, a new feature for its smart ring users in the United States designed to integrate medical records with continuous biometric data. The upgrade, which costs $4.99 per month, utilizes the HealthEx platform to pull clinical information—including medication history, appointments, diagnoses, and procedures—directly into the Ultrahuman app.

By combining electronic medical records with wearable metrics such as resting heart rate, heart-rate variability, skin temperature, and sleep data, the feature creates a unified timeline. This allows users to observe how clinical events, such as starting a new medication, correlate with changes in their physiological measurements. Ultrahuman claims the platform can access data from more than 90% of care providers across the U.S., aiming to reduce delays in care caused by fragmented health histories.
