Ultrahuman raises $70 million to expand health intelligence platform

Ultrahuman, an India-based health technology company, has raised $70 million in a majority equity financing round. Investors in the round include Qualcomm Ventures, Labcorp, Alpha Wave, Blume, Nexus, and Alteria.

The company intends to use the capital to accelerate research and development in artificial intelligence, sensing, miniaturized electronics, and health algorithms. While known for its smart rings, Ultrahuman aims to transition into a “human-computer interface” company. This strategy focuses on creating a platform capable of continuously monitoring various biological signals, including sleep, cardiovascular health, metabolism, hormonal rhythms, and blood biomarkers.

Ultrahuman’s existing ecosystem includes the Ultrahuman Ring, the Blood Vision blood-testing platform, M1/M2 continuous glucose monitoring, and Jade, an AI system designed to integrate these various health signals.
