Ultralight aircraft crashes in forest near Bobrowniki

An ultralight aircraft, identified as an Aventura II seaplane, crashed in a forest near Bobrowniki in the Łowicz district on Saturday, August 15. The incident occurred around 11:10 AM, approximately 400 meters from the Bobrowniki landing field.

The pilot, a 50-year-old resident of Warsaw, was the sole occupant of the aircraft. Although he remained conscious following the impact, he sustained injuries and was transported to a specialized hospital in Łódź via an Air Ambulance (LPR) helicopter.

Authorities, including the police and the State Commission on Aircraft Accident Investigation, have secured the site to determine the cause of the crash. Preliminary findings suggest the aircraft fell into the forest for undetermined reasons during flight.
