Ultrapur Omega Gniezno faces financial difficulties

The Polish speedway club Ultrapur Omega Gniezno is facing significant financial difficulties following its exit from the Krajowa Liga Żużlowa semi-finals. Club board member Tomasz Adamski stated that the organization must seek external funding to meet its current obligations.

Adamski noted that the situation is nearly identical to the previous year, highlighting a growing issue with the collectability of funds from sponsors. While the club has invoiced large sums, many companies have struggled to make payments, leaving the club without sufficient cash on hand. Adamski denied rumors that the club owes players over one million PLN, though he confirmed that settling debts with athletes and preparing the stadium for next season are urgent priorities that must be addressed by the end of October.

The financial instability has already impacted the roster, with riders Norbert Krakowiak and Kevin Fajfer having recently terminated their contracts.
