Ultraviolette to launch Shockwave motorcycle in Q1 2027

Ultraviolette has announced that its Shockwave electric motorcycle will launch in the first quarter of 2027. The vehicle will be built using the company’s newly developed 100V architecture, a platform designed to provide stronger power delivery, improved thermal efficiency, and faster charging capabilities.

Designed as a lightweight motorcycle inspired by the character of classic two-stroke engines, the Shockwave will be available in both single- and dual-seat configurations. The company has already begun establishing a production line for the model within its existing manufacturing facility.

Co-founder and CEO Narayan Subramaniam stated that the Shockwave and the Tesseract have been under parallel development for the past year. The shift to the 100V architecture is a key component of the company’s investment in electric vehicle technology. Final specifications and additional launch details are expected to be released closer to the 2027 introduction.
