Uluṟu tourism experiences highlight Indigenous culture
Travelers visiting Uluṟu are increasingly engaging with Indigenous storytelling and cultural ceremonies. The Sunrise Journey features the artwork ‘Ngura Nganampa Wiru Mulapa’ (Our Country is Truly Beautiful), created by Aṉangu women artists Selina Kulitja, Denise Brady, and Valerie Brumby, accompanied by an original score by Aṉangu musician Jeremy Whisky.
Research indicates that 72 per cent of recent guests found Uluṟu offered more activities than expected, with over half stating they would extend their stay if planning a repeat trip. Recommended itineraries suggest a minimum of four nights to experience the various tours and activities available from sunrise to after dark.
