Ulysse Car Trade launches JAECOO J5 electric SUV in Tunisia

Ulysse Car Trade (UCT), the official representative for OMODA & JAECOO, has introduced the JAECOO J5, a fully electric SUV, to the Tunisian market. The vehicle is positioned as a premium yet accessible option for sustainable mobility.

The JAECOO J5 features a 61 kWh LFP battery providing a WLTP-certified range of 402 km. It is equipped with a 211 hp (155 kW) motor that enables acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds. The SUV supports ultra-fast DC charging, capable of increasing capacity from 30% to 80% in 28 minutes, and includes Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology to power external devices up to 3.3 kW.

Interior specifications include a 13.2-inch high-definition vertical touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 1.45 m² panoramic glass roof. Safety features consist of six airbags, 540° HD panoramic cameras, adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, and blind-spot monitoring. The vehicle is priced at 74,900 TND and comes with a 7-year or 200,000 km warranty, while the battery is covered for 8 years or 160,000 km.
