Uma Musume: Pretty Derby Los Angeles concert canceled due to visa issues

Cygames has officially canceled the Los Angeles leg of the ‘Uma Musume: Pretty Derby 7th EVENT WORLD TOUR “THE STAGE”’, which was scheduled to take place at the Peacock Theater on October 22 and 23. The cancellation is due to the organizers' inability to secure the necessary U.S. visas for the performers.

Despite working with local attorneys and promoters for over six months to prepare the applications, the visas were not approved in time for the event. The announcement comes just days before the scheduled performances, causing significant distress among fans, some of whom had already traveled to the United States for the event.

Cygames announced that refunds will be provided for venue tickets, streaming tickets, official JTB tours, and live viewing sessions. The company is also considering additional support measures for fans who had already made travel arrangements to attend in person. The franchise's world tour is intended to include stops in London, Seoul, and Yokohama.
