Umag hosts second international gymnastics championship

The second Umag International Open Gymnastics Championship concluded with 321 participants representing 16 clubs. The event featured athletes from Slovenia and Croatia, highlighting its growing regional importance.

The competition was divided into two programs. The primary school program included 179 participants, predominantly girls, while the senior competitive program featured 142 athletes.

Among the Croatian clubs, Buzet achieved significant success, with its members earning silver medals in the senior girls' team competition and a bronze medal in the individual competition. Local Umag gymnasts also reached the podium in the youngest age categories.
