Umbria and Todi festivals announce new cultural programs
The Umbria Green Festival is launching the ‘La forma dell’acqua’ cultural series, curated by Loredana Lipperini. Scheduled for August 29 and September 6, the program features eight Italian female writers discussing themes such as gender equality, literature, and the environment. The events will be held in the internal areas of Foligno, specifically at the Annifo Library and the Colfiorito Marsh, aiming to connect cultural reflection with local landscape valorization.
Simultaneously, the Todi Festival has announced a series of theatrical and musical events for late August. On August 29, the program includes a performance by Michela Andreozzi and the national debut of Colette, starring Milena Vukotic and directed by Silvano Spada. The evening will conclude with musical performances by Pierfrancesco Poggi. On August 30, the festival will present ‘Lato Finestrino’ featuring Emanuele Luperto, alongside a cultural discussion curated by Michele Casini regarding the representation of women in opera.
