Umbria regional politics: Fratelli d’Italia questions agricultural diesel funds

Members of the Fratelli d’Italia opposition party, including Eleonora Pace, Paola Agabiti, and Matteo Giambartolomei, are demanding clarity from the Umbria regional government regarding the distribution of 4.5 million euros intended to support agricultural businesses.

The funds are meant to address rising fuel costs by providing a contribution of 30 cents per liter to over 5,700 companies. The opposition is questioning the timeline for these payments and whether the resources are currently available or if a budget variation is required to make the funds operational.

In contrast to the regional measures, the party noted that the national Meloni government has planned 60 million euros in non-repayable contributions for agricultural diesel, covering up to 45 cents per liter for over 120 million liters of fuel.
