UMBY students promote financial literacy to children in Magelang

Students from Universitas Mercu Buana Yogyakarta (UMBY) conducted a financial literacy program for children at a Quranic Education Center (TPQ) in Magelang, Central Java. The initiative, led by accounting students, aimed to teach the importance of saving and money management through creative methods.

Participants engaged in educational sessions regarding the benefits of saving, followed by a hands-on activity where they decorated and painted their own piggy banks. The program was designed to help children build early habits of financial responsibility.
