Umenohana Group launches temperature-based drink coupons

Umenohana Group is offering special summer promotions across its seafood izakaya brands, including Sakura Suisan, Uosama, Uoga Ichiban, and Teraken Honke. During weekdays in August 2026, the group is issuing “Hot Day Coupons” based on weather forecasts provided by the Japan Meteorological Agency.

Two types of coupons are available depending on the forecasted high temperature. If the forecast is between 31 and 35 degrees Celsius, customers can receive one free Dewar’s Highball. If the temperature is forecast to reach 36 degrees Celsius or higher, customers can choose one free drink, including draft beer, sours, highballs, or soft drinks. The daily coupons are announced via Google Business Profiles and official Instagram accounts.
