To support these producers, Umino utilized a proprietary exhibition app to collect real-time quantitative data and qualitative feedback from attendees. This data is provided back to the producers to assist in quality improvement and marketing efforts. The company also provided consultation services for new entrants in the aquaculture industry, focusing on the use of its triploid oyster seedlings, which allow for year-round harvesting by preventing summer spawning.

Beyond market support, Umino emphasized its commitment to sustainable fisheries through seaweed bed restoration initiatives to combat the environmental issue of sea urchin barrens.
