Umm Al-Qura University is conducting the second edition of its international student exchange program in partnership with City St George’s, University of London. The program focuses on clinical medicine through an advanced summer training initiative.

Selected medical students are participating in intensive training at St. George’s Hospital in the United Kingdom. The curriculum includes clinical supervision, shadowing medical teams, observing case assessments, and working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams. The initiative aims to introduce students to the British healthcare system, medical research methods, and problem-based learning.

Dr. Warda Al-Asmari, Vice President for Business Development and Community Partnership, stated that the program is designed to develop clinical and professional skills and prepare students to work in multicultural healthcare environments. This collaboration aligns with the university’s 2027 strategic goals and Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance international partnerships and produce globally competitive graduates.
