Umm Al-Qura University opens 26th Hajj and Umrah Research Forum
Umm Al-Qura University has launched the 26th Scientific Forum for Hajj, Umrah, and Visitation Research in Makkah. Held under the theme ‘Excellence and Integration in the Hajj and Umrah Services System,’ the event aims to support Saudi Vision 2030 by providing sustainable solutions and innovations for crowd management and pilgrim services.
The forum features a comprehensive scientific program, including five scientific sessions, over 40 professional workshops and guidance sessions, five research workshops, 50 scientific papers, and 30 innovative projects. The event includes 25 expert speakers and the participation of more than 80 entities from various sectors.
Accompanying exhibitions showcase research, scientific posters, and innovative projects utilizing knowledge and technology to serve pilgrims. The event concluded with an awards ceremony for sponsors and winners of the ‘Hajathon 4’ challenge, a platform designed to foster creative solutions for the Hajj and Umrah ecosystem.
