Umm Al-Qura University to host 26th Hajj and Umrah Research Forum

Umm Al-Qura University will host the 26th Scientific Forum for Hajj, Umrah, and Visitation Research on September 2–3, 2026, in Makkah. Held under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the event aims to support scientific research and innovation to enhance the experience of pilgrims.

The forum, themed ‘Excellence and Integration in the Hajj and Umrah Services System,’ will feature specialized scientific sessions and workshops. Key topics include crowd management, digital transformation, environmental sustainability, artificial intelligence, healthcare, logistics, and innovation.

Accompanying the forum will be a scientific exhibition showcasing research and initiatives. Additionally, the fourth edition of ‘Hajjathon’ will take place, inviting students, researchers, and entrepreneurs to develop innovative solutions that align with Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program.
