Umrah and Visitation Program delegates visit religious sites in Madinah

Participants in the second phase of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Umrah and Visitation, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, conducted several cultural and religious visits in Madinah.

Delegates from 23 countries across Asia and Europe visited the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur'an. The tour included demonstrations of modern printing technologies, quality control procedures, and an overview of the complex's efforts to translate the Quran into more than 80 languages. Upon completion of the tour, guests received copies of the Holy Quran as gifts.

Additionally, the group visited historical Islamic sites, including Mount Uhud, the Martyrs' Cemetery, and Quba Mosque. At Mount Uhud, visitors received historical context regarding the Battle of Uhud, while at Quba Mosque, they observed recent expansions and developments. The program is designed to enrich the spiritual and cultural experiences of pilgrims before they travel to Makkah to perform Umrah rituals.
