UMSNH Public Security degree receives first quality accreditation

The Bachelor's degree in Public Security and Forensic Sciences at the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo (UMSNH) has received its first quality accreditation in its ten-year history. The accreditation was granted by the Inter-institutional Committees for the Evaluation of Higher Education (CIEES).

During the tenth-anniversary celebration, UMSNH Rector Yarabí Ávila González recognized the efforts of the School of Interdisciplinary Higher Studies (EESI) and noted the support provided by the State Public Security Secretariat and the State Attorney General's Office of Michoacán. Ávila emphasized that the program is training human resources ready to enter the professional workforce to contribute to social transformation.
